Activities: Admire historical sites such as Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, Banteay Srei, and Preah Khan.
Today, you will have the opportunity to discover another well-known ancient capital city: Angkor Thom. Located on an area of 9 square kilometers, Angkor Thom was built by King Jayavarman VII nearly 100 years after Angkor Wat. It is considered by many international tourists to be as mysteriously attractive as Angkor Wat.
Next, continue our Cambodia Tour to Bayon Temple. Built in the 12th century, Bayon Temple is the magnificent central temple of the ancient town of Angkor Thom.
Don’t forget to capture the Terrace of Elephants over 300 meters through the heart of Angkor Thom. It is a signature, two-and-a-half-meter tall, 300-meter-long terrace wall decorated with carved elephants and garudas spanning the front of Baphuon.
Wander around to the terrace of the Leper King double terrace wall at the north of the Terrace of the Elephants. Then, take a trip to explore Banteay Srei - a beautiful 10th-century Hindu temple complex, that reaches 23 miles north of Angkor Wat and Preah Khan - one of the most historical temples of Angkor.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to town.
