On the second morning of the Yangon Bagan Mandalay Tour, you will take a flight to Nyaung U (Bagan) after being transferred to Yangon Airport.
Arriving in Bagan, you will be picked up at the bus station for the beginning of the Bagan Tour to the lively Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan.
Then, head to gold-leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and experience Burmese Buddhist customs.
To continue our Burma Escort Tour, you take a walk to Ananda Temple and stop on the way to Bagan Field for a view of the temples around. With the cruciform, the temple has many terraces heading to a little pagoda shrouded by a hti (referred to as an umbrella or top ornament) at the top and that is typical for the majority of pagodas in Myanmar.
Next is Bagan-Manuha Temple. According to King Manuha’s inscriptions, the temple was constructed in 1067 by captive Mon King Manuha. This is a rectangular structure consisting of two floors with a seated Buddha image and a nirvana Buddha image. Manuha Temple is one of the earliest temples in Bagan.
At the end of the Bagan Day Trip, we will explore Shwesandaw Pagoda which is the second highest in this area. The pagoda includes an array of five terraces, capped with a cylindrical stupa having a bejeweled umbrella.
Then come back to your hotel.
NOTE: Not allowed to climb on temples and pagodas.
