The restaurant features dark brown furniture that relate you to the historic past of the region. Also, it’s wonderful to enjoy a wide selection of Asian and continental cuisine whilst admiring the view.

Day-01 LUANG PRABANG EMBARKATION

The boat will sail in the afternoon. As the time comes, embark on the boutique Mekong Sun cruise and check - in your cabin.

Feel free to explore the town of Luang Prabang - a beautiful city recognized by UNESCO through its stunning colonial buildings and bustling night market.

Welcome dinner is awaited you onboard with a diverse menu of Asian and European cuisine.

Day-02 LUANG PRABANG - KUANG SI FALLS - XAYABOURI DAM

Early birds can take part in the Alms giving ceremony this morning - a very scared ritual of Laotian.

Then, back onboard for breakfast as we cruise down the river to visit one of the most amazing waterfalls of Laos - Kuang Si Falls. Stroll on the trail around the waterfall to catch the pristine beauty from different angles.

This afternoon, we will cruise pass the biggest hydroelectric power plant of Laos - Xayabouri Dam. You don't want to miss this fascinating site.

Day-03 BAN DON SAINGAM

Ban Dom Saingam is our highlight for today excursion. We leave the ship for a fascinating trek to the mysterious cave here which is a private spot for Mekong Sun Cruise's guests only. Along the way, enjoy the peaceful scenery surround with herds of cattle, small villages and pristine nature.

Tonight, join in our wonderful BBQ dinner on a stunning riverside location. Spend the night onboard.

Day-04 CRUSING - SALAKHAM

We continue sailing to the further north of the mighty Mekong river. Relax and contemplate the magnificent landscapes with lush forests and outstanding mountain ranges. Today, you will also have a chance to pay a short visit to the rustic Salakham town where to experience the local life. After that, back onboard and keep navigating northwards on the rapid currents of the Mekong. Spend the night in your cozy cabin.

Day-05 WILD NATURE ALONG THE MIGHTY MEKONG

Today, the RV Mekong Sun Cruise will enter deeper into the north. While the ship moving, enjoy the brilliant scene of the magnificent river and the local lifestyle alongside the river bank. As far as the ship goes, as more stunning the landscape is. The magnificent tropical vegetation and rock formation that exist along the riversides are the spotlights of the wilderness view.

We will have a couple of minutes to catch a glimpse at this chocolate-box scenery and then, the cruise endures its route. Enjoy your dinner served on board and the boat will anchor at a pretty sandbank for an overnight.

Mekong Sun Cruise Policy

1. Deposit

Cancellations made 130 days or more prior to departure: charge 30% of total price
Cancellations made 130 to 70 days or more prior to departure: charge 50% of total price
Cancellations made 70 to 35 days or more prior to departure: charge 70% of total price
Cancellations made less than 35 days or more prior to departure: charge 90% of total price

2. Payment Conditions

In order to make a booking, 30% of deposit is required. The full payment must be completed 45 days before the departure. Failure will result in cancellation of the booking.
For overdue bills, 5% of the interest per month will be applied. Top Mekong Cruises takes zero responsibilities for bank surcharges for international transactions. Bank surcharges must be paid by the money sender.
Our bank details will be advised depend on confirmation of your reservation. Overseas payment shall be done by telegraphic transfer. Credit Card payment is also acceptable with an additional 3% of the invoicing amount.

I was kindly asked to write some feedback by Gam, so here it is! first I want to thank her, this girl is really is easy to work with and every request of us was considered. About the trip itself. I myself think that it's quite rush to see the whole of Vietnam, but it's a safe choice to visit Vietnam the first time. You will taste the most signature dishes in the main regions, see some of highlighted attractions,.. so you will know which to go and to see next time you return. (For me it will be the northern region!)
