Le Duy Grand Hotel

New medium sized hotel in district 3, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Nice lobby with friendly professional staff. Outside on the parking lot a small swimming pool. Rooams clean and comfortable beds. Nucely decorated. Two breakfast rooms. One on the 12th floor another near the lobby. Bellboys friendly and helpfull. Rooms comes with TV (& international channels), WIFI, water cooker, minibar.

My wife and I recently undertook a fully escorted holiday to Vietnam and on flying in to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) at the start of our holiday, we spent a couple of nights at the Le Duy Grand Hotel. We were greeted by polite and enthusiastic staff, our room was large, well ordered and very clean, we both enjoyed good nights` sleep on both nights of our stay, and breakfast was varied and plentiful. There was a swimming pool at the very front (ground floor front/ roadway level) but we did not get time to use it as our couple of days in Ho Chi Minh City were spent exploring the City. Throughout our stay at this hotel the staff remained polite and attentive and the front desk staff were very knowldgable about local sights and ways to get to them. All in all our holiday started very well, the hotel was excellent but on a downside we did, I have to say, find the level of traffic (mopeds and motorbikes) in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) quite `mindboggling`, Ho Chi Minh City is obviously a very large City with an absolute plethora of mopeds and motorbikes... my wife and I were also, on a number of occasions, quite `boggled` by the absence/ lack of road rules on the part of vehicles (including mopeds, motorbikes, cars and trucks) using the City`s roads ! We did however enjoy this hotel at the start of our trip and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to other travellers. :-)

Wonderful 3 star hotel in the heart of the city with a great views from the 9th floor terrace. Good swimming pool and substantial breakfast.The reception was active on responding our demand. See you next time

Nice medium class hotel in the middle of district 3. Good access and easy to find taxis/Grab cars. Rooms are spacious, good and clean bathrooms. Small nice swimming pool in front of the hotel. Breakfast ok, selection could be improved. Very comfortable hotel. Friendly reception staff, good bellboys.

The room is modern with more than sufficient space. The personnel is welcoming. The bathroom is separated from the bed by a glass wall. It is good middle range standard hotel, with nice prices and overall good position.

My room was huge & the view from the 7th floor was awesome. I loved that it was very modern. In walking distance to many shops, cafes, restaurants - Family Minimart was across the road, fruit juice kiosk was next door. The breakfasts here were scrummy & they fried your eggs how you wanted them. Reception were great. Laundry service was cheap & my clothes were cleaned to perfection. Markets are a good 20+mins walk away (a healthier option). Huge city.

Great hotel, very central and easy to get around - loads of taxis and "Grab" bikes (if you dare - the traffic is chaotic 24 hours a day). The best (oddest?) thing about the hotel was the pool - it's essentially on the street with people and cars literally a few feet away. Swimming at night is almost a surreal experience with all the noise and lights. you must try it, if only for the novelty value.

Clean, with friendly helpful staff. Right in the hub of Saigon, eateries etc nearby. Ben Thanh market up the road- if you can cross the road! A good choice! It's not that far to to the river to get the ferry - we got an uber, but it's walking distance.
